Energy Saving Certificates (CAEs) will be issued to companies that meet final energy savings and will be a new instrument of flexibility, transparency, and security for companies and the overall economy.

Before drafting the Royal Decree that will establish the characteristics and scope of the CAEs, and in line with the democratization of the ecological and energy transition, the Ministry of Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge has opened a public consultation.

The goal is to gather opinions and contributions from various social and economic stakeholders, especially from the business sector, regarding the scope and implementation of CAEs.

Participation is crucial because, even in the development of instruments like CAEs, the energy transition is, perhaps more than ever, a collective project.
